Everything you need to know about KeeCash card deletion

1️⃣ Manually Deleting a KeeCash Card

If you wish to deactivate and delete a KeeCash card, you can do it directly from your KeeCash account.

Steps to follow:

1️⃣ Open the KeeCash app.
2️⃣ Select the card you want to delete.
3️⃣ To delete the card, its balance must be zero (balance = $0). If there is still a balance, please withdraw the remaining funds from your card to your wallet: Withdraw from my Keecard

4️⃣ Once the balance is zero, the Delete button will appear. Click on it to permanently delete your card.

Important: This action is irreversible. Once deleted, the card cannot be recovered. If needed, you will have to create a new one at the standard price.

2️⃣ Automatic Card Deletion After Multiple Payment Failures

Your card will be automatically deleted after 15 failed payment attempts.

Unlike other platforms, we do not charge any failed transaction fees.

💡 How to Avoid This:

✅ Ensure your card is sufficiently funded before making a purchase or paying for a subscription.
✅ Regularly top up your card via Mobile Money or cryptocurrency.
✅ Temporarily block your card if you expect upcoming payments you cannot afford.

You will receive a notification in the app for every failed payment. After the 15th failure, the card will be automatically deleted. Keep in mind that card deletion is irreversible.
