The 2.5% + $0.50 outside the USA are not charged by KeeCash: these are network fees billed directly by Visa and Mastercard.

On a Black Card, the partner bank permanently keeps $1.20 locked on the card to keep it active. So you cannot spend the last $1.20. That amount is returned to your KeeCash wallet when you delete the card.

💡 The tip that avoids pointless fees

Many services (Netflix, Spotify, Apple, Google Play, SaaS subscriptions) retry a payment automatically several times if the card does not hold enough. On a Black Card, each declined attempt costs between $0.40 and $0.60, and the fees add up fast.

👉 Always top up a little more than the strict payment amount. KeeCash suggests a recommended amount at every creation and every top-up: it is calculated to cover these cases.
