Why am I not getting the Mobile Money push to confirm my deposit?

Why am I not getting the push message to make my Mobile Money deposit?

If you are not getting the push message on your phone to confirm your Mobile Money deposit, it does not necessarily mean something serious is wrong.
In most cases, the push message does not arrive because of a temporary network issue, a delay on the operator side, a short-lived incident on the Mobile Money service, or an insufficient balance on your Mobile Money account.

What it means

The push message is the request sent to your phone so you can confirm the Mobile Money payment.
As long as you do not receive this message, the deposit cannot be validated.

Why it can happen

You may not receive the push message for several reasons:

  • the phone had no network at the time of the request;
  • the Mobile Money operator is temporarily slow;
  • the request expired before it was validated;
  • the phone is switched off, in flight mode or out of network coverage;
  • an earlier request is still pending;
  • the operator's Mobile Money service is having a temporary incident;
  • the balance on your Mobile Money account is not enough to cover the operation.

What to do

Try the following:

1. Check your phone network

Make sure your phone:

  • has proper network coverage;
  • is not in flight mode;
  • is active and able to receive requests from your operator.

2. Check your Mobile Money balance

Make sure your Mobile Money account has enough balance to make the deposit.

3. Wait a few moments

The push message sometimes takes a little longer to arrive.
Wait a few minutes before trying again.

4. Start the request again

If the message still does not arrive, start the operation again from the app.

5. Restart your phone if needed

A simple restart can sometimes restore the reception of your operator's push messages.

When to contact support

Contact support if:

  • you have tried several times without getting the push message;
  • your network works normally;
  • your Mobile Money balance is enough;
  • the problem continues after a few minutes.

What to send to support

So we can quickly check whether there is an incident on the operator side, simply tell us:

  • your country;
  • your Mobile Money operator.

Good to know

In most cases this problem is temporary and can be solved by starting the request again after a few moments.
If it continues, our team can check whether there is an incident on the operator side, based on your country and your Mobile Money operator.
