What is Google Ads?

Google Ads is the advertising platform of the Google search engine. It lets you run ad campaigns and show those ads among users' search results, based on the keywords they type. Google Ads ads are placed strategically at the top of the results page, marked as "Ad".

Creating an ad campaign on Google Ads

Here is the whole process, from creating the campaign to paying for it. Proceed as follows:

Create a Google Ads account by going to the top right of the page and tapping Start now

Select the Gmail account you want to link to your Google Ads account, and log in to it by entering your email address.

Enter the password of your Gmail account and tap Next. Then set your campaign goal by selecting one of the 4 goals and confirm by tapping Next.

The range of Google Ads campaigns covers different business goals: improving visibility, getting new sign-ups on a form, generating more sales, promoting and driving visitors to your website, getting calls.

Tell Google Ads your business name in the empty field, so it can show it on every search containing your name. Then choose a page of your website where users will land when they click the ad (7).

Move on to writing your ad, with 3 headlines and 2 descriptions to make it stand out against competing ads.

Remember to watch the preview of your ad at the top right of your screen as you go (9).

Add the locations you want to target, based on where your audience is, by entering a postcode, a city or a country.

Look carefully at the maximum monthly budget and make sure you can afford to spend that amount every month.

Once all the details of your ad are set, review your campaign before moving on to payment.

Fill in the billing form and your organisation details.

The country to choose depends on your card: Gold cards are issued in 🇵🇦 Panama, Black cards (Visa and Mastercard) in 🇺🇸 the United States. Select the country that matches your card.Which billing address to use

Choose the payment option you prefer, go to payment method and tap Add credit or debit card

If you choose manual payments, this is a setting that lets you pay your advertising costs in advance. When your ad runs, the costs are deducted from the payment you made. Google Ads emails you when your account balance is nearly used up. You can then make another payment whenever you like.If you chose automatic payments, your advertising costs are charged every month on the same date, or as soon as your account reaches a set amount called the payment threshold, whichever comes first. For example, if your first payment was on 15 December, you will be charged on the 15th of each month, or as soon as your account reaches your payment threshold.

Enter your card details, which you can find in your KeeCash account.

Once entered, your card is added to your payment methods. When everything is done, tap Submit to complete this step.
