How do I pay to make my Facebook page more visible?


A Facebook page is useful to build your brand awareness, sell your products and services, or keep your customers engaged. It offers businesses many advantages:
  • A potential market of 2+ billion users
  • A platform designed for mobile and video
  • Features that matter to professionals (shop, services and more)
  • Usable statistics to measure how your strategy performs
  • The most innovative and effective advertising offer


A Facebook page is therefore different from a Facebook profile, which is meant for individuals and cannot be used by an organisation.


How much does a Facebook business page cost?

Creating a Facebook business page is free. However, if you want to grow your page's visibility, there is time and resource to factor in:
  • Creating content takes an investment, larger or smaller depending on the type of post you want (photo, video, text and so on). For example, sharing a link takes far less time than publishing an infographic or a video that has to be produced first.
  • Running a Facebook page should not be underestimated: writing and publishing posts, engaging with a community, reading the statistics and more.
  • Gaining new followers or promoting your business can be done with advertising (Facebook Ads), which has a cost.


This article explains how to create a Facebook page and add your rechargeable card to your payment methods.


  1. Go to your Facebook profile. In your news feed, find the Pages button in the list on your left and click it.

  1. Then click +Create a Page

  1. Enter the required information about your page. Choose a unique name that reflects what you genuinely offer. Add 1 to 3 categories to describe your business. Then add a description to explain your value proposition further. Then click Create Page.
You can see the changes in the desktop preview of your page.

  1. Set up your page by choosing a profile picture that sets you apart from other pages. Feel free to add a cover photo too, to convey the overall theme of your page. Then tap Save

  1. Well done, your page is created. Check all the information you entered. Make sure what you wrote is easy to understand for a potential customer visiting you. Then click Ad Centre to start promoting your page.

  1. Once in your ad area, click Payment settings

  1. Click Add payment method

  1. Choose your payment method by selecting Debit or credit card to add your Keecard.

  1. Set up your payment card by entering your card details. Confirm by tapping Save.

  1. Wait for the card to be verified (screenshot 10). At the end of this step, Facebook tells you the verification is complete and that you can pay with your Keecard.

  1. When you click Done, your card appears in the list of your payment methods.
