# How do I pay online with my KeeCash card?

### Every field of your card 💳 matters for your payment to go through.

1. Card **number**: to be entered in the ${color}[#ff0000](Card number) field.

2. Card **expiry date**: it always uses one of these formats: ${color}[#ff0000](Month/Year (MM/YY)) [example: 12/12] or ${color}[#ff0000](MM/YYYY) [example: 12/2012], or ${color}[#ff0000](MM) and ${color}[#ff0000](YY) or ${color}[#ff0000](YYYY) split into separate fields on the payment form.

3. Cardholder **first name** and **last name**: to be entered in the ${color}[#ff0000](Name) field of the payment form.

4. **CVV**, also called **security code** or **CVC**: 3 digits, usually entered at the end of the payment form.

5. If a **postcode** is requested, you can enter 75015 if you do not want to use your own.

### 💳 Best practices for paying online with your KeeCash card

Here are a few good habits 👇

1. **Always check your balance before a payment**
Make sure your KeeCash card holds enough to cover the transaction, especially for recurring charges (Netflix, Apple, Google Ads and others). Repeated insufficient balance can get your card blocked and then deleted.

2. **Use a dedicated card for each purpose**
With KeeCash you can create up to 3 active cards. This is handy to:

Separate personal and business payments

Keep one card for subscriptions, one for online advertising, and so on

Manage your budgets more easily

3. **Only keep active what you actually use**
You can block and unblock your card from the app in one tap. A good way to protect your funds when no payment is planned.

4. **Top up by Mobile Money or crypto at any time**
You can top up 24/7, weekends included, by:

5. **Avoid suspicious or risky payments**
Avoid using your KeeCash card on:

Unknown or doubtful websites

Platforms with no reviews or reputation

Shops that refuse international cards

This lowers the risk of your card being blocked or of a dispute.

From the KeeCash app you can see in real time:

7. **Update your details on the platforms**
If you change card (for example after expiry), remember to update your payment method on:
