# How do I change my email address?

# How do I change my email address?
You can change the email address linked to your KeeCash account directly from the app.

## Important
Changing your email address is only possible if you are **already logged in to your account**.

## Steps to follow
### 1. Open the menu and go to **My account**
In the app, open the main menu and tap **My account**.

### 2. Scroll the settings to the right
On the **My account** page, swipe the tabs to the right until you see **Change email**.

### 3. Enter your new email address
Type your new email address in the first field.

### 4. Confirm your new email address
Type the same email address again in the second field.

### 5. Tap **I want to change my email**
Once both fields are filled in, tap the button to confirm.

### 6. Confirm with the code received by SMS
A code will be sent by SMS to your registered phone number to confirm the email change.

## Good to know
After it is validated:
* you will be logged out of the app;
* you will be able to log back in with **your new email address**;
* your **password stays the same**.
