# Can the name of my card block my online payments?
No.
The **name you give your card** in the KeeCash app **has no effect on your online payments**.
That name is only there to **help you identify your card more easily**.

The **card name** is a label you choose so you can recognise your card more easily in the app.
It can be useful:
* if you have several cards;
* to quickly find the right card;
* to help support identify the card concerned if there is a problem.

Do not confuse:
* the **cardholder name**;
* and the **card name** shown in the app.
The **cardholder name** is the person the card belongs to.
The **card name** is simply an internal label you choose to help you identify it.

You can give your card a name such as:
* Advertising
* Netflix
* Main
* Personal
It changes nothing in how the card works.

No.
The name given to the card in the app **does not block** online payments.
If a payment is declined, the cause is elsewhere.
The card name has no impact on:
* the card being accepted;
* a payment being validated;
* or how the CVV, the 3D Secure code or the expiry date work.

This field exists to make things simpler.
It lets you:
* organise your cards better;
* avoid confusion if you have several of them;
